Lions, tigers and bears OH YES!
If you want to visit the zoo and not just hope to see all of the animals but to actually see all of the animals, find time or as a matter of fact make time to go to the Atlanta Zoo.
We’ve recently visited Atlanta spending time with family and were fortunate enough to get the opportunity to visit the Atlanta Zoo. I couldn’t have been more excited to go and share in the joy with my little one as she witnessed all of these amazing animals in their habitats.
I don’t want to knock all the Zoos I’ve been to but this Zoo is unbelievable. The whole atmosphere is beyond beautiful. They keep the zoo clean, child friendly and spectacularly decorated. I couldn’t believe how clearly you could spot each animal while giving them a spacious home.
The exhibit that blew my mind that I will probably be talking about for the rest of my life was the Tiger exhibit. Holy only close up!
As you can see it’s literally insane! Most zoos we have been to or that I have been to in the past you spend some time wondering where the animal is. Is it hiding? Is it sleeping? Does it just say that they have it but they don’t. No one knows. Sometimes you can spot a tail in the distance or even a body in the way back. Walking up to this exhibit I was expecting the exact same but instead I heard “oooohs” and “aaaaahs” and “holy crap mom look how close he is”. I couldn’t believe it! The encounter was remarkable and memorable.
Here are some more photos of some of our favorite animals we spotted.
We had an amazing day and the zoo had other fun activities for children such as play places, jungle gyms, zip lining and a splash pad! We can’t wait until we can go back to visit and give this zoo a 5 star rating!
Thanks for having us 🙂
I have always wanted to visit this zoo and it is something I will always have on my bucket list!
