My 5 Favorite Ways to Transition from Summer into Fall.

So with my last blog post written on the basis of wanting fall but not wanting summer to end. I’m officially ready for fall! It’s crazy how just a few little things can remind you about how much you love a certain season, this one being fall.🍁

Here are the 6 things that helped me remember just why I love the season and how to transition from the bathing suits to hoodies and love every second of it.

  • Take to Shopping – There is nothing that screams fall more than heading into a favorite store like Michaels Craft Store, Target, Walmart and more and seeing all of the fall colors.

  • Buy & Light a Fall Candle – The shell of anything spiced in my house makes me light up like a Christmas tree (that season can hold off). Leaving a window open, snuggling up with a fleece throw and a good book all while lighting a fall candle. This sounds like a perfect Sunday morning to me!

  • Get out your Chunky Sweaters – this one is one of my favorites. The thought of sitting outside watching my godsons soccer game while wearing a chunky sweater, leggings and boots! Okay, sign me up girl!

  • Get in the Kitchen – Not only is the crock pot the most handy thing I own in the kitchen, it’s also my favorite way to cook. The day I get to whip that bad boy out and fill it up with all the fixings for a beef stew is the best day. Nothing says fall like comfort food. Baking is another thing I love. During the summer no one wants to heat the kitchen up just to have some baked goodies, so fall is the time to do it. Pies, crisps, cookies and more! Yummm!
  • Pinterest (Click to view what I’m pinning for Fall) Pinterest gets anyone excited for anything. Planning outfits, planning a wedding, planning birthdays or just scrolling for hours on end. As soon as I see all of the fall outfits and DIY projects for fall I’m automatically clicking that PIN button and the excitement is flowing! Take to Pinterest for any and all ideas Fall.

I love this post and can relate to everything you posted. I have had the “get your pumpkin spice away from my margarita” mindset for a while but recently the Fall bug hit me. We’re putting up a Fall tree with a Halloween train around it for the first time this year. I went to the Dollar Tree recently and got the cutest decorations for the tree. I’m excited to see how it comes out. My daughter and I made cute little ornaments. I can’t wait! Plus, a little sore throat inspired a creamy chicken soup in the crockpot and all of this led to me lighting a pumpkin candle recently too. So I think I’m there. Happy Fall! 🍁

Dollar tree is such a great spot for DIY stuff too! Chicken noodle soup was actually the first thing that I made the other night! Happy Fall to you!🍁

I have a crock pot too and even though it’s slightly cracked, I still love it and use often! The pricier Instant Pots are all the rage so maybe when my slow cooker is ready to retire, that will be my Christmas present to myself. 🙂

I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the Instapot but have yet to get one myself. Maybe I’ll do the same! For now the trusty crock gets things done! Happy cooking! 🙂
