Our new rascal.

I’m a lover of all animals. In our house we have 4 total now with our new addition. Can’t stop won’t stop!

This baby was a rescue just like my beloved Tucker boy. I got them both from the same shelter which we couldn’t be happier with the whole facility and process.

This is Ryker and the obsession is real! He is a 3 month old lab/ mountain cur mix and he’s as sweet as can be. Am I crazy for adding another dog, a big dog, into our home? Probably… does he wake me up when I’m fast asleep? Yes, he sure does! Do I already love him unconditionally, yes again!

The thought of adding another puppy to the mix has been going on since Tucker was about 1, which was 1.5 years ago! So it’s safe to say it lingered. I would look at puppies for hours on hours and contact breeders and shelters. I happen to be sitting outside of my daughters school waiting for it to be time to head in and thought, I’ll check the site.

THERE HE WAS!!!

I seen that face and knew, he had to be mine! That day, we went to the shelter, met him and fell in love! V was chanting “I want the black one” over and over again. It was love at first sight and he was heading home within 2 hours to become apart of the family.

Yes, puppies are a lot of work, but I don’t mind. He fits so perfectly into our home that I couldn’t imagine our life without him!

A happy ending is my favorite.
