Fall Day in Rockport

I totally feel like the biggest movie geek writing this but you guys, have you seen the movie The Proposal? Okay, for those of you that have seen it.. AMAZE RIGHT? For those of you who haven’t, let’s go people!

I’m one of those girls that watches a movie and feels like she’s in it. I cry when they want me to cry. I laugh when they want me to laugh. I worry when they want me to worry. So typical, I know!

From the very first time I watched The Proposal I have said I need to go to Alaska, I need to visit this place! I fell inlove with the quaint community, the little shops, the scenery and just the feeling I got every single time I seen it. It sounds crazy to most, unless you’re exactly like me! I️ remember looking up to see where they filmed the movie and finding out it was actually in Massachusetts where I am from was literally beyond exciting. I know they film things everywhere and I’ve probably been to a million of the locations but this movie just did it for me.

Every single time I have had plans to go to Rockport, something has come up. Finally after the long wait we took a little parents only day trip and it was everything I thought it would be and more!

T made fun of me because at one point I was saying this is the best day ever…while skipping! The little town is so magical and romantic I am over the top obsessing still. I wanted to share the photos and my little story about why the day was so over the top exciting for me! Hope you enjoy & if you ever get a chance to go… DO IT!

This was the spot I had to visit 100% because if you have seen the movie then HELLO you’ll get it!

My photos don’t even do justice to how perfect Rockport Ma. This place is amazing and I cannot wait to go back!

It’s amazing when you visit a place, and start recognising angles from movies, isn’t it. My Cousin used to live in Marin County – just up the road from the Skywalker ranch (my Uncle bought the plot of land and built the house at the same time the Lucas’s bought a rundown old farm up the road). Of course you walk out into the redwood forest behind their old house, and you realise you are on Endor all of a sudden 🙂

It seriously is my favorite! Except I’m like “okay let’s go find this exact spot”. I would love to just find a beautiful place and then realize it, probably would be really cool! Awesome story that’s so amazing!!!!

So neat! I’ve watched every episode of One Tree Hill. Earlier this year we visited Wilmington, North Carolina where that show was filmed. It was super exciting to see it in person!

My cousin actually just did the same thing and sent me the photos and I was fan-girling from my phone. I am super jealous you went & that’s totally on my top 5 places to go. Lucas Scott 💕
