Winter, I’m breaking up with you.

Okay winter, we are officially taking a break. I just cannot handle you anymore. You crack my skin, my toes are cold and having to put on layers of clothing to go to Dunkin isn’t the exact way I’d like to start my mornings. Shoveling snow has my back a little achy. I have two dogs, so the yellow snow it not the most appealing.

Did I mention that I’m over you?

Although there is such magic in the way the snow falls and everything looks so clean. Not even a day later, icky.

Although there is nothing I love more than to see my daughter happy and snow does make her smile. I’m over bringing this poor child to the doctors every other week because of the fun (and by fun I mean the opposite of fun) you bring to our poor immune systems.

Although there is nothing better than a snow day off to do absolutely nothing but relax. At the end of relaxing comes a lot of hard work to clean up your mess.

There’s a few things I like about you winter, but basically I’m telling you it’s time to go.

I want flowers blooming, sun shining, giggles outdoors and NOT chattering of teeth and runny noses. I’d much rather sunblock and shades in my purse over snotty tissues and cough drops.

I would love nothing more than to throw on a pair of flip flops and not double up socks and clunky winter boots. My nose is red and dry, my lips are an absolute catastrophe and no matter what products I use … nothing compares to the healing brought by the sweet sweet natural Vitamin D.

Let’s break up winter, I want summer back!

New England winters are rough. We’re expecting another 5-8 inches of snow tomorrow. The temperature has been in the negatives while my son has stood at the bus stop recently. I’m done with it too. 🙂

Oh my goodness! Stay warm love. Snow is seriously so annoying in every aspect! I’d like it for Christmas and that’s about it!
