Summer has come to and end but our memories Jellystone Park, Gardiner, New York will last forever.
It’s a bittersweet feeling to say goodbye to summer, there’s so much magic in each season thats it’s not always easy to move on! This year we ended our summer with a trip to remember. We traveled 3 hours to the beautiful and scenic Gardiner New York. With landscapes to be in awe of!
When we pulled up we couldn’t figure out which way to look first. There are eye catching views, fun for the family all around and cabins galore. Check in was easy, name and ID and we were set to get our golf cart. We were given a list of activities going on for the time we would be spending there and a map of the whole park. Picking up the golf cart was just as easy and for V extremely exciting. We headed over to our Riverfront Premium Cabin and couldn’t wait to take a look inside and get familiar with everything! The cabin was complete with everything we could think of from silverware to pots and pans, beautiful architecture and a cozy cabin vibe! I was most impressed and we all slept like babies! Comfort is key!
The food smelled amazing, the pools looked sparkling clean with kids smiling ear to ear. An icecream stand with all the yummy flavors you could think of and a general store with literally every single thing you could think of, including the cutest novelty goodies. Yes, we definitely fell for the puppy dog eyes of our excited little 6 year old and bought quite a few little trinkets!
We played in the water park, we roasted marshmallows, we got lazy in the lazy River, ate food from the Tiki Snack Bar, made crafts in the craft room and roamed around enjoying each other and the scenery!
This was our first time camping or as we all know it as “glamping” and it will not be our last. There’s something about losing the distractions of media and the everyday that really resets your whole mind and body. The fresh air, the outdoors and just doing so many fun things that we typically don’t get to do. Crafting together, relaxing together, exploring together. One of my new favorite memories was watching my little girl and my big kid (Tony) jumping on the giant jumping pads together. I honestly do not know who had more fun.
I couldn’t have thought up a better way to close out summer than spending it at Lazy River NY with my family!
